Therapy Services

The young women placed at Forest Ridge are provided with therapy as needed or as required.  All youth in Residential Treatment meet with a LISW, LICSW, or MSW at least twice monthly.  Forest Ridge Therapists supervise all BHIS services, conduct mental health assessments, and provide individual, group, and family therapy on the Forest Ridge campus. Forest Ridge also has an on-site substance abuse therapist that provides assessments, individual, and group therapy on a case-by-case basis.

Any additional therapeutic or treatment services that are needed but not provided by Forest Ridge therapists are contracted through local service providers that meet the necessary licensing requirements for each specific service.  Services that are available through outside providers include:  medication management through Spencer Psychiatry.
